Your article depicts the true feelings of most of the people have right now. Including me. We all have become used to such incidents and are so coward that in spite of doing something, we simply ignore the situation after some intelligent discussions about it. My dear friend the ultimate solution to change the society is to change ourselves individually. But collectively as well we need to do something to throw these bastards out of our political system. But again What?

Today’s civilian specially youth is boiling with anger for these terrorists and the politicians. We really need to do something. But What??

From the looks of it, you’re female and so will not understand what ’IMPOTENCE’ means - but, Chandni, if you really want to know, close your eyes and think about what you fell when time after time our people are shot dead or bombed into oblivion - then think about the Z security that our parasitic netas give themselves - have you done that? We the People

Ever since the Bombay attack I am watching the news or reading papers & find that the angry people want action & pointing fingers at politicians & Pakistan myself included

I wonder will it solve the problem.

Why can not we be the change ,we want individually & collectively?

No of thoughts come to my mind which we can put in to effect

let all persons in India donate their 1 day earning every year to an ngo to be used for following purposes

1 to take an insurance policy for terror victims including kins of security personnel & other civic agencies like fire brigade dying in action

2 let a civil defense group be formed having all India reach with presence e in each locality

This group will prepare the citizens to cope with any such contingency ,will teach them how to defend & attack during terror attack, how to assist the relief teams & deflect the terror attacks with minimum damage

3Young men /students can undergo one year voluntary military civil defense training which will be included as a part of their university education

4Let their be a credible hotline to scotch the rumors

5Let their be a 24*7 help line to report any suspicious activity

6 people can dedicate at lest one day or more in a year in the service of the nation as per the various program chalked by the said ngo

7 the ngo will not accumulate funds to avoid power struggle & will not take any government grant

8No political person will be involved in its administration

9Those active will not stand for election at least 3 year after they disassociate themselves from its activity

9No money will be spent in the election of the office bearers who will enjoy no special privileges including publicity

10 this ngo will also undertake mass education to make the public aware what they can do for the country

There can be many more ideas ‘let us begin the journey of thousand miles today
